City Services
Walnut Grove offers several City Services. Some services needed may be provided by another company or organization. Whether we as the City supply the service or not, information in regards to those services can be found on this page. To report a concern that needs the attention of the city, please call the City Hall offices at (770) 787-0046.
Sanitation
Waste collection services are provided by Southern Sanitation. Contact for garbage service can be made via email at Service@southernsan.net or phone at (770) 554-6450.
Pickup day for waste and recycling is every Wednesday. Please have waste and recycling at the curb by 7:00 A.M.
*Please note that if pickup day falls on or after a holiday, pickup day may be delayed one day. If the holiday is on a weekend, pickup day will not be affected. The following holidays are observed:
New Years Day
Thanksgiving Day
Christmas Day.
Emergency Service
Emergency services are provided by Walton County Fire & Rescue. IN CASE OF ANY EMERGENCY CALL 911, ready with your location and type of service need.
Street Lights
The street lights in Walnut Grove are serviced by Walton EMC. If there is a street light that is not functioning properly, please call City Hall at (770) 787-0046 so that we can report it to EMC.
Natural Gas
If your home or business needs natural gas, contact the City of Lawrenceville Utilities for service.
